Been shopping here for years since they opened. Good selection for Asian goods. It could be crowded on weekends and holidays.

There was a huge selection of produce, I’m talking, a quarter of the store! Napa cabbage, Japanese eggplant, enoki (fungus/woodear), daikon, Asian pears, and so many herbs I’ve never seen like HUGE perilla leaves. I love the frozen section too, so many things I will try over the next few years. It’s a 14 minute walk from my new home and this location didn’t disappoint. There (hawker stalls) inside is a ramen restaurant, a Chinese kitchen, and a cute boba stand/tapioca ball drink shop within the store. There are also cakes and deserts everywhere but in front of the Japanese Ramen restaurant is a full bakery that also makes fresh juice from frozen fruit that I picked up. It helped me survive my walk home. The seafood and meat sections were packed with customers and didn’t have that squid ink fish blood smell that dirty supermarkets have. I got a whole fat piece of Canadian Salmon for 8 dollars!!! I found my favorite Chinese/Gonzhou brands that I used to buy in little Chinatown in Brooklyn where I lived. The staff is friendly and there is diversity in hiring from what I saw despite claims of staff favoring Asians there was so many different people employed which made me more comforta

I have been shopping at this 99 ranch for years but I’m disappointed to say the quality has gone downhill. I walked in today to get tofu and the quality of everything was horrible. There were tofu blocks with mold and others with flies inside the packaging. There was also tofu that was expired months ago sitting on the shelves. A health inspection is needed here

We ordered the Century Egg and Pork Congee, and the Shrimp Dumpling Wonton Noodles. Unfortunately, the shrimp dumplings were a huge disappointment. While they were packed with plenty of shrimp, the shrimp had a very strong, unpleasant alkaline/lye water taste (ιΉΌζ°΄ε‘³). Because the dumplings were practically inedible due to this taste, we essentially ended up paying $10 just for a bowl of plain noodles. The Century Egg and Pork Congee was okay. We also ordered a 3-item dim sum combo, which was similar to "Three Fried Stuffed Treasures" (η…Žι‡€δΈ‰ε―Ά). One of the items was a green pepper stuffed with shrimp paste, but we noticed a pile of mystery white powder sandwiched right between the pepper and the shrimp. When we went up to ask the staff member about the white powder, she was extremely rude and completely brushed us off. While we were sitting nearby eating our meal, we could hear her loudly complaining to her coworkers about us just because we asked a question. Throughout our meal, we kept hearing her gossip and complain about various other customers and their requests too. The food quality is subpar, the terrible attitude and unprofessional behavior of the staff is even worse.

This is a massive store, very organized but not so clean, especially around veggies and fruits section. The aisles are smaller around that section too. I found a whole lot of variety of green vegetables there. Got three different kind. Prices were good, most of them were by weight. The store had many other sections like seafood, meat, bakery, grocery items, noodles, snacks, drinks and Asian specialty food items. They also had the dim sum and hot food section. A lot of the items were already packed in foil boxes, just for $3 each. I got few of them. The shau mai, red bean cake and dumplings were excellent. We ate them for breakfast next morning. The checkout process was quick and easy.
